When you upgrade from the Trial plan to a Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) plan, billing will begin when your contract starts. Here's what changes and what to expect.
Your existing Trial Items
Any Items you created while on the Trial plan will carry over to your paid plan automatically so you won’t need to reconnect them.
If an Item created on your Trial Plan was initialized with a subscription billing product, such as Transactions, it will start being billed on a subscription basis once your PAYG plan is active. Like all subscription Items, you'll continue to be billed for it each month unless it's removed via /item/remove.
Note: This applies to all Items created on the Trial Plan. Trial usage doesn't carry an exemption from subscription billing after you upgrade.
When your first invoice arrives
Self-serve invoices go out on the 8th of each month and cover usage from the previous calendar month.
For example: If your contract start date is July 1, your first invoice will be issued on August 8th. This will cover your API usage for July.
Reviewing your plan and rates
Once your contract starts on the 1st of the following month – your billing information, including your individual rates, will be available on the Billing page.
You can compare available plans at any time on the Plans page in the Dashboard after your contract starts.
