Plaid offers a variety of pricing plans to cater to different needs and usage levels. These plans are designed to provide flexibility and scalability, whether you're a small startup or a large enterprise. There are three main pricing plans offered by Plaid: Pay-as-you-go, Growth, and Custom (also known as Scale).
For customers based in Europe, we only offer Custom Plans at this time. Additionally, certain products like Payment Initiation, Signal, and Transfer are currently only offered via Custom Plans. For more detailed information review our Pricing page and the Plaid Billing section of our Docs.
The Pay-as-you-go Plan is the most flexible option. It has no minimum spend or commitment, meaning you only pay for what you use. This plan is ideal for businesses that are just starting out or have variable usage needs. You can start using Plaid's services without any upfront commitment and scale-up as your needs grow. If you're looking to use a wider range of Plaid products, Pay-as-you-go Plans do not currently support all Plaid products.
The Growth plan is designed for businesses that have a consistent level of usage and are ready to commit to a minimum spend of $100 per month for at least three months. The advantage of this plan is that it offers lower per-use costs than the Pay-as-you-go Plan. This means that as your usage increases, your cost per-use decreases, making it a cost-effective option for growing businesses. If you're looking to use a wider range of Plaid products, Growth Plans do not currently support all Plaid products.
The Custom or Scale Plan is designed for larger businesses or those with specific needs. This plan requires a higher minimum spend, typically $500 per month, and an annual commitment. However, it offers significant volume discounts and the lowest per-use costs among all plans. Custom Plans also provide access to enhanced services such as a dedicated Account Manager, implementation assistance, and premium support.
How to Choose the Right Plan
Choosing the right plan depends on your business needs and usage levels. If you're just starting out or have variable usage, the Pay-as-you-go plan offers the most flexibility. If you have consistent usage and are ready to commit to a minimum spend, the Growth plan can provide cost savings. For larger businesses or those with specific needs, the Custom plan offers the most flexibility and the lowest per-use costs.
