To reset your password or manage your 2FA settings:
- Log in to the Plaid Dashboard.
- Click your initials in the lower left corner.
- Select Security.
- To reset your password, select Reset Password and enter your current and new password.
- If you have not yet enabled two-factor authentication, you may do so by selecting Enable two-factor authentication and follow the prompts. You will need to select the method you want to use during sign in, either receiving codes via SMS or receiving codes via an app. When you enable two-factor authentication, Plaid will show you a backup recovery code. Be sure to write down the recovery code and store it in a safe place, since it will only be displayed once. After you enable two-factor authentication, you’ll be prompted to enter an authentication code each time you sign in to the Plaid Dashboard.
