Request ID Overview

Every Plaid API response includes a request ID as the ‘X-Request-Id’ header. The request ID is included regardless of whether or not the API request succeeded or failed. Here is an example of the response headers for an example Plaid API request:
< HTTP/1.1 200 OK
< Content-Type: application/json; charset=utf-8
< Server: nginx
< X-Request-Id: a2d7b95be32b47a08c0912e000c1c730
Please include the request ID (‘X-Request-Id’ header)—or if using Link, the pairs of link_request_id and plaid_api_request_id— in every Dashboard case that you open.
